Srila Prabhupada passtimes-25-Radha-Damodara temple

Gopal Ghosh: "Prabhupada at this time was sitting in a chair and writing his books at a table. Two marble cows sat on his desk. Pradyumna was outside typing on an electric typewriter. Prabhupada took my hand and asked me to come and join ISKCON."

When Kartik ended, Prabhupada left Vrindavan to preach in Delhi, Bombay and around the world. During the next few years, Srila Prabhupada would accomplish the impossible. He translated, printed and distributed millions of transcendental books glorifying the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Lord Sri Krishna. Hare Krishna became a 'household word' on all continents. Radha Krishna temples opened in North and South America, Africa, Europe, India, Asia, and Australia. Thousands took initiation and enthusiastically followed Prabhupada's strict spiritual program.

As spokes radiate in all directions from a common center, all these remarkable achievements shared the same common source, Srila Prabhupada's rooms at Radha-Damodara. Although Prabhupada never stayed again in his rooms at Radha-Damodara after 1972, he did say at that time:

Srila Prabhupada: "This corner at the Radha-Damodara temple is just like the hub of the wheel of the spiritual world - it is the center."
